Faneuil (Benjamin) House is built.

(ca.) It is located near Green Street at today’s 626 Centre Street. Built for Eleazar May, the house is purchased by Faneuil in 1740 and later occupied by his brother-in-law Benjamin Pemberton. Subsequent occupants include Dr. John Warren and Samuel Goodrich in approximately 1828.
